Conrad (Connie) F. Grube, Jr., 88, of St. Marys, GA passed away on August 8, 2023 at St. Marys Senior Care center.

Connie was born to Conrad F. Grube, Sr. and Caroline (Mahle) Grube on March 6, 1935 in Philadelphia PA.  Connie moved to St. Marys in 1997 to pursue his hobbies of fishing and woodworking.  He was also a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.  He was a Navy veteran and served during the Korean War.  Connie was quick to help both friends and strangers whenever needed and was affectionately known as the unofficial mayor of the neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Grube.  He leaves behind his loving wife Sharon (Neu) Grube, daughter, Doris Minnich; son Robert (Debra) Grube; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Victor (Agnes) Neu; John (Linda) Neu; Virginia Guenther, Joel Neu: Diane Moppert; James (Mary) Neu and the late Daniel Neu.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

In his memory donations may be sent to K-9s for Warriors or the American Diabetes Association.
