Cathleen Mary Worthen, 83, of Kingsland, GA., passed away on July 5, 2025 at Community Hospice in Fernandina Beach, FL.

Cathleen was born on December 28, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Donald Lebeau and Kathleen Burke Labeau.

Cathleen was a Navy dependent (Navy Brat) while she was a child, she graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, TX and did one year of college also in Odessa, TX. On January 7, 1961, Cathleen married John Everett Worthen in Odessa, TX and raised two sons, which she loved with all her heart. She loved to knit, loved her rose plants, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a Navy wife and traveled to the Philippines. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, John Everett Worthen of Kingsland, GA. Sons, David Everett Worthen (Shari) of Kingsland, GA, John Wayne Worthen (Kathy) of Even Mills, NY. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kay Vaughan and Jennifer McGehee (Troy).

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, GA.
