Cara Petruzella, 54, passed away in St. Marys, GA on February 25, 2026.

Cara was a dedicated registered nurse, caring for both children and adults, and she was admired deeply by her patients and colleagues alike. She was an avid runner and an active member of several running clubs, completing at least six marathons, including those in Orlando and Philadelphia. A generous supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, she donated faithfully to the cause that was close to her heart. Above all, Cara cherished time with her family, taking great pride in her beloved nieces and nephews.

Cara is survived by her father, Daniel F. Petruzella Sr., her sister and brother-in-law, Angela and David McCallum, and their children Caitlyn, David, and Carina her brother and sister -in-law, Daniel and Stacey Petruzella Jr, and their children Margaret and Daniel, who will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Services will be held on March 28, 2026 at 9:00 am at the Pittsfield Cemetery, in Pittsfield Massachusetts.
