Brian Burns, 67, of  of many places, including New York, Oregon, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Raleigh, Georgia, and Costa Rica passed away on December 14, 2024 in St. Marys, GA.

He was born on March 25, 1957, in Cobleskill, NY, to Robert and Barbara Burns, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved sister, Wendy Brenamen.

Brian is survived by his brother, Bob Burns; his children, Carly Harris, Austin Burns, and Casey Burns. He be missed by many, including his friend Margie Jones, and by countless friends made throughout the many seasons of his life.

A passionate man, Brian had a distinguished career in radio, where his love for music and broadcasting made a lasting impact. Beyond his career, Brian enjoyed a good NASCAR race and competitive MLB game, especially if the Braves were playing. He was known for his inclusive personality, ability to recall any song's artist, album and release year within seconds and a unique sense of humor that left no pun behind and often included a well-timed inappropriate joke. Brian's larger-than-life presence will be remembered by all who knew him.
