Barbara Ann Ward, 77, of St. Marys, GA passed away on May 7, 2025.

Barbara was born on July 12, 1947 in Key West, FL to Guy Spicer and Ivy Rankins Spicer.

Survivors are her children, Joseph Ward (Charlotte) and Christina Takach (James) both of St. Marys, GA. Sister, Patricia Ryan of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren, Jonathon Clay, Anthony Clay, Bethanee Walthall, and Dakotah Collins. Great grandchildren, Landon-David Clay, Mayson Clay, Cashlin Clay, Elijah Walthall, Leonardo Walthall, and Salem Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Ward.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 on the same day of service.

Funeral service will be held on Friday May 16, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church in St. Marys at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
