It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Barbara Susan Viola, born on July 25, 1963, peacefully passed away February 23rd, 2026, at her home in Kingsland, Georgia.

A Long Island native who graduated from Newfield High School in Selden, New York. Barbara made a living in service to others, which is a testament to a spirit of consideration which she imparted to all those around her, leaving a legacy as an ever-welcoming presence. She will be remembered for her nature, her love, and her infectious humor. She will be missed but can always be found in those whose lives she impacted and who carry on her kindness. Barbara was dedicated to those that loved her as a problem solver, never looking for personal benefit to offer help. Her grit, compassion, and consideration being replaced by grief of those left behind is evidence of the love those had for her.

Barbara is survived by her husband Vincent, her children Christian, Lauren, and Jonathan, brothers Douglas and Donald, as well as stepchildren, grandchildren, and numerous friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded by her parents Florence and Donald.

At the family's request there will be no service at this time. We invite all who knew and loved Barbara to join us honoring her memory. Not in a single effort, or attempt, but by going forward to share love and kindness whenever the opportunity is available. To do what she did in making this world a kinder, more loving place would be a fitting tribute to a great person.
