Ammon Zachary Taylor, 22, of Augusta, GA passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Wellstar MCG Health from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

Ammon was born on July 23, 2002 in Douglas, GA to Paul Taylor and Genese Peace Benevento.

He was an amazing, funny kid with a tender heart, and a contagious smile. He enjoyed collecting stuffed animals, fishing, hunting, staying up for hours playing video games and eating ramen noodles. Everywhere he went he always gave compliments to people in stores and was smiling.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Taylor and grandmother, Karen Peace.

Ammon is survived by his father, Paul Taylor (Kathy), mother, Genese Benevento (Lewis), brothers, Lee Taylor (Kayla), Jackson Taylor (Brandie Baker), James Taylor, and Chris Minshew. Grandmother, Alice Taylor, Grandparents, Bobby and Edna Peace and Bill and Hazel King. As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time and beginning at 10:00 am. Services will be held on Monday April 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waycross, GA. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA.
