Alsace G. Harpole, 86, of Kingsland, GA passed away at the residence on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Born in Cebu, Phillipines to the late Frank and Petra Rodriguez Gubisch. She moved to the California in 1972 at the age of 33 with her husband who served in the Navy and later obtained her US citizenship and learned to speak English. Her family moved to Kingsland in 1997 when her husband got a job at Kings Bay Naval Base. Alsace adored her family being a Navy wife for 20 years and enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing, roller skating, camping, playing the piano, and attending her church.

Alsace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arthur Harpole; and a special companion Cutty Hunnicut.

Survivors include her three children Edward Anthony Harpole, Cecilia Diaz (Bo) and Patty Johnson (Scott); four grandchildren Kerry Garber (Jeanette), Leah Acker (Matthew), Noah Shane Baker and Christian Diaz; five great grandchildren Erika Graham, Rex Acker, Kingston Garber, Kaylani Garber and Jonathan Baker.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10:30 am at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA.

Burial to follow at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, GA.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am on Thursday.
