Alexia was born on September 3, 1991, in Fernandina Beach, FL to Leona Joy Colón of Seattle, WA, and Fernando Colón-Aldecoa of Bayamón Puerto Rico.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 5-7 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, GA

Alexia is an artist, with an artist's soul, heart, and temperament. Alexia is an amazing human being and we are all better for having her in our lives, even for this unimaginably short time and she is deeply missed.

Alexia is survived by her mother and father, her brother Michael Douglas Colón, her sister-in-law Ann Marie Colón, and her nephew, Lincoln Pierce Colón. Grandparents on both sides of her family, her grandma and grandpa, Elizabeth and Dean Bliss, from Garfield, Arkansas, and her abuela Carmen Socorro Aldecoa, from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Alexia has family from Seattle and Portland to Puerto Rico and Colombia. She is also survived by her sweet fuzzy fur baby, her "son" Alistair, "Alis" Colón.
